Midas Displays CAN Bus TFT Range

Midas Displays are pleased to have added new sizes to our range of ‘smart’ TFT displays, which have CAN Bus interface. These displays are easy-to-use, which increases the speed of product development. Midas currently offer five sizes: 3.5", 3.9” letterbox style, 4.3", 5.0” and 7.0”.

Demand for ‘smart’ displays is increasing, with project times shortening. There is extra pressure on businesses to get an idea through the design process, and into production as soon as possible, to get their product to market ahead of competition. With these displays, a customer end GUI builder is available to help speed up development, which enables the customer to have full customisation of objects. This also allows the customer to simulate the project on the PC.

This means that you can get your ideas from ‘paper to product’ faster. The display acts as a ‘slave device’, meaning it can easily be added to your existing ‘HOST device’, to add a visual readout with the addition of touch feedback”.

All displays in this range feature built-in flash memory and buzzer, and a capacitive touch screen. They have a brightness of up to 2500cd/m², and work with various platforms, such as: computer with USB2CAN dongle, MCU, or Raspberry Pi interface (PiCAN2).

These displays are ideal for automotive, medical, and industrial applications. The pre-loaded software on these devices provides ‘widgets’, specific to these industries.
